EMF Anomaly

During our June 26th investigation of the Rohs Opera House, we found that all three of our EMF meters were giving consistent high readings. The readings were about the same everywhere in the building.

A consistent, high EMF reading can usually be attributed to bad wiring or a device (i.e. television, microwave, air conditioner) that is malfunctioning. However, none of these explanations could apply to such a large area. When you stand in the center of the auditorium of the Rohs there should be no electrical fields no matter what the cause.

It was a new occurrence to us so we documented their behavior.

Thanks to some of my friends over at itshaunted.com, I came to the conclusion that something was causing a strong RF (radio frequency) field.

The possibilities here are not much broader, but at least it is something that can be measured. A high RF field such as this would require usually only occurs when a cell phone tower or high voltage transmission line is close. Neither of these apply unless someone built it very recently without my knowledge.

The K2's are particularly vulnerable to RF fields as nifty as they are otherwise. They are even known to spike at an investigators cell phone. However, the Gauss Master is not commonly associated with this problem. I am not sure about the Cell Sensor/Ghost Meter, but independent web site reviews that I looked up did not indicate it to be a problem.

This led us to buy another piece of equipment in the event it happened again. We now have a Trifield Meter. This meter is filtered against RF and even has a separate setting to read RF specifically.
