Historic Rohs Opera HouseWe are still concentrating much of our efforts on a continuing investigation1 of the Rohs Theater. The building, built in 1871 and then expanded in 1941, is widely considered one of the most haunted locations in Kentucky.

I am fortunate to live in the same town as such a historic and parananormally active building.

The most famous of the residents is our own "Woman in White."2 but from our own work and the investigations of other individuals and groups it is believed to be inhabited by at least 3 other apparitions - possibly more.

This is the place where I began my hobby as a paranormal investigator. As far as hauntings go, one could call the building "user friendly". None of the entities seem to be in any way malevolent or threatening (although one resident seems to be a little excitable when provoked). We now use the location to train new groups and individuals, passing on what knowledge and experience we have gained there.

  1. The term "shooting fish in a barrel" comes to mind.
  2. Why do so many female apparitions wear white?
