This one is interesting...but because it has certain characteristics I will call it an errant flash of light.

It was captured by our DVR system at the Rohs Opera House in Cynthiana on November 12, 2011 during an investigation with the Georgetown Paranormal Society. The camera is pointed towards the same corner as where we caught our Child Entity At The Rohs clip, but from the opposite direction. We are starting to call this hallway the "Vortex". This is the second hard-to-explain-clip from the area that we have caught in exactly two times covering it. Our EMF detectors almost always display unexplainable spikes here. And to be flat-out-honest, every single psychic and sensitive that I have had walk through there claims they get dizzy. Take it for what it is worth.

Pardon the time stamp. I have a witness that I reset the DVR, but somehow 11/22/2011 became 10/15/2022. The actual time was a little after midnight.

The hallway is enclosed at the end away from the camera by a "black out curtain". Immediately behind the camera, the doors were also closed. These doors do have small windows, but we have recorded nor noted no obvious instances of light from the street beyond coming in them.

Because one of the two teams was in the area behind the camera at the time this was recorded I will submit that it could just be someone shining a flashlight into the hall through one of the windows in the doors. I think I can elimininate it being any type of reflection however, knowing the layout of the hall and the location of the windows in relation to the camera. Basically there would have been no light source to reflect that I can come up with.

If it is in fact nothing more than a flashlight beam, why doesn't the hall light up more? If someone was just peeking in through a window with a flashlight I would think, although I do not know it as a fact, there would be a stronger, more defined area of light. There also would be no valid reason for anyone to be using a flashlight in that part of the hall through the doors as the lights were left on in that area to establish a base of operations for the investigation. There is no reason for anyone to shine a light in through a window since the DVR viewing screen was just a few feet away. Finally, viewed in slow motion it appears to have a striding movement as it nears the camera - open to interpretation obviously.

Alas, it is what it is. A light in a hallway that has possible explanations.

But whatever this is, it is at the "right place".
